Songs of reflection, love, loss, and acceptance of the inevitable, the self titled debut from Nicholas and the Pessimistics promises to resonate in everyone. As the song content brings something that all of us can relate to, musically this is an excellent example of Americana at its best, while allowing subtle influences of rock, blues, and even jazz to permeate.
